Celeb Divorce: The Money Woes of Kim Zolciak

celebrity divorce Jan 03, 2024

Celebrity divorces are like regular divorces, but a little more juicy. If you are looking for some piping hot tea on a train-wreck celebrity couple, look no further! Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann are back in the news. (Okay, let's be real. I could write that line weekly. They're in the news over and over and over.)

Kim and Kroy's contentious and drama-filled divorce is playing out like an episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) with a mix of Don't Be Tardy, except they are not getting paid for these escapades. And the real losers in all of this are their children who are forced to witness their shenanigans.

From all out brawls and calls to the cops... to piling up debts, there is not much going right for Kim and Kroy. With over $1 million in debt and counting, the couple is now defaulting on a variety of debts from small (hello Target Red Card) to eye-popping ($150k to Saks!!??)

In the last year, the Zolciak-Biermanns defaulted on a $300k line of home equity credit and the bank wants them to pay up yesterday. The couple has flat out ignored or skipped out on legal proceedings from a loan that was originally due in 2016! With their $6 million house now on the market, they better hope they can pay off all of their debts, but things are not looking good!

Miss seeing Kim on the small screen? You are in luck! She will be back at it on The Surreal Life sometime in 2024. I know it will not disappoint!
