Braunwyn Windham-Burke Divorce - He Drained the Bank Accounts (RHOC)

Mar 30, 2023

Reality TV star Braunwyn Windham-Burke has made headlines again for her divorcee from her husband, Sean Burke. The breaking point behind the split, as reported by Page Six, was Sean's alleged draining of their joint bank accounts. To be fair, Sean tells a much different story, stating that "any funds that were moved were used to pay family bills."

Braunwyn, however, claims to have woken up one day to realize that her ex had not only drained the shared accounts, but she didn't have access to any credit cards or money either. Unable to provide, she had to turn to family for help.

The change in status and level of financial comfort has taken a toll on her as she cares for her seven children. Braunwyn has been struggling to establish financial independence.

This scenario is not uncommon. The spouse in control of the money drains the joint. bank accounts. Sometimes it's to gain an upper hand in the divorce, and other times it is to punish the spouse. And women are more often on the receiving end of this type of behavior.

Financial betrayal, financial infidelity and financial abuse are all about power and control. If you suspect your spouse is hiding funds or assets during your divorce, it's worth your effort to find out for sure.
